Click a scene – this is how OHB switches your Hollyland tally. The “Interview” scene shows two cameras; the order of your mapping decides which one turns red.
What OHB does
OHB does exactly one thing: it connects OBS Studio to your Hollyland system – reliably, even in long productions.
Red and green
Program scene = red. In OBS Studio Mode, the preview scene = green as well.
By source or by scene
Map OBS sources to cameras – including nested scenes and groups. Hidden sources don’t count.
Reconnects by itself
OBS crashed or Wi-Fi dropped? OHB reconnects automatically. After 2 seconds without OBS, the tally switches off to be safe.
Rename without breaking
Rename a source or scene in OBS and OHB updates the mapping automatically.
Runs in the background
Close the window, the tally keeps running. Status and start/stop in the menu bar – with optional autostart.
Demo mode
Test your Hollyland connection without OBS and without a subscription: OHB simulates scene changes and sends real tally.
Setup
OBS and Hollyland stay as they are – OHB simply sits in between.
Enable OBS
In OBS, enable the server under Tools → WebSocket Server Settings. If OBS runs on the same Mac, keep the host 127.0.0.1.
Map your sources
In OHB, click Connect & Load Sources and give each camera source from OBS a Hollyland camera number.
Connect Hollyland
In the Hollyland base station, enter your Mac’s IP address with port 9990 as tally source – OHB shows you the address. Start the bridge, done.

FAQ
Anything else? Email info@concierge-martini.de.
Does OBS have to run on the same Mac?
No. OHB connects to OBS over the network. If OBS runs on another computer, enter its IP address as host.
Why is green never lit?
OBS only has a preview scene in Studio Mode. Turn it on in OBS and enable “Send green tally (preview)” in OHB.
Several cameras are visible in one scene – which one turns red?
Hollyland knows exactly one red and one green camera at a time. The source highest in your mapping wins – reorder it by drag and drop.
Why does the tally switch only at the end of a transition?
OBS reports a program change only once the transition has finished. OHB switches the moment that report arrives.
What happens if OBS crashes?
OHB rides out short dropouts. If OBS is gone for more than 2 seconds, OHB switches all tallies off so nobody wrongly sees “live” – and reconnects automatically once OBS is back.
How do I cancel?
Through your Apple ID: in the app under “Subscription” → “Manage or Cancel Subscription”, or in your Mac’s App Store settings. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
I use a Blackmagic ATEM or Windows.
For that there is MARTINI´s Atem Hollyland Bridge – with ATEM and OBS support for macOS and Windows.
Does OHB collect data?
No. OHB only talks to OBS and your Hollyland base station on the local network. No account, no tracking, no connection to our servers. Apple handles the subscription.
